2019 MacBook Pro may see a complete new design and 16.5" display according to famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. It could have the Intel 10 nm Sunny Cove processors which was announced last December 2018. The Intel Gen 11 graphics will also come with this processor which is twice powerful than previous Gen 9.
Above is a 16.5" MacBook Pro concept by Twitter user Ben Gaskin. He mentioned that it could incorporate Face ID instead of Touch ID. The overall size of the laptop won't be impacted as Apple will trim the bezel a little bit to accommodate 16.5" screen in the same body.
The 13" MacBook Pro is expected to have 32 GB RAM. Kuo did not share any news regarding the smaller machine.
Apple is expected to unveil the new MacBook Pro at WWDC 2019 in June. The last major redesign of MacBook Pro was in 2016. The new design is expected this year because Apple received severe criticism for the 2016-2018 MacBook Pro butterfly keyboard, speaker issue and many other issues.
